2. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us: authentication data (email, name), User Content (trip details, photos, reviews), and Usage Data.

3. Third-Party AI Service

Triply uses Google Gemini AI, a third-party artificial intelligence service provided by Google LLC, to power its AI features including trip itinerary generation and social media content analysis.

When you use AI-powered features, the following data may be sent to Google:

• Trip preferences (destination, country, categories, trip duration)
• Social media content (videos, images, and captions) when importing spots from TikTok or Instagram

This data is processed by Google's Gemini AI service solely to generate your trip itinerary or extract travel spot information. The data is transmitted securely and is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not send your account credentials, email address, or personal profile information to the AI service.

You will be asked to provide explicit consent before any data is shared with the AI service. You may revoke this consent at any time via the Profile settings.

4. Location Data

To provide our core features (Trip Planning, Map Visualization), we may request access to your device's coarse location. Usage of this data is limited to the app's functionality and is not sold to third parties.

5. Media Access

We may request access to your Photo Library or Camera to allow you to upload cover images for your trips or profile. This access is only used for user-initiated uploads.

6. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to maintain the service, personalize your experience, and facilitate social interactions (e.g., sharing trips). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following third parties, each of which provides equivalent privacy protection:

• Google Gemini AI – for AI-powered trip planning and content analysis (with your consent)
• Supabase – for secure data storage and authentication
• RevenueCat – for subscription management
• Yelp Fusion API – for place data enrichment (place names and locations only)

8. Data Deletion

You may request full account deletion at any time via the Profile settings. This will permanently remove all your personal data from our systems.
